I am trying to get my machine to work, but it constantly says 000 ma. This is the first time this is happening. No matter what I do it doesnt work

If you lay both plates directly over each other without the mesh and turn up, what happens?

When i do that and turn it up, it says between 25 ma to 27 ma,but when i do it the regular way it does not work.
