Hi you all,

I've been using Drionic for the past 7 years and have just found out that I'm pregnant. I know that pregnancy is a contraindication but I will hate going through hell for the next 9 months if it turns to be safe and just contraindicated due to lack of research/experience. My dr actually doesn't believe it could harm a fetus given the current density and thinks I should be able to use it. Does anyone have any experience using ionto to treat palmar Hyperhidrosis while pregnant? There aren't any other real alternatives for us pregos which are safe and effective.

Thanks!

Pregnancy and Iontophoresis is a nogo
Sure everyone must know what he does and when a doctor gives his ok it may br ok
A base for your decicion and discussion with your doc could be this post: https://www.iontodevice.com/hyperhidrosis/exclude-certain-parts-from-the-iontophoresis-current-t567.html

A quest: How long do the batteries of the drionic last?

Not sure I understand the response - so if my doc thinks it's ok do you think I can go ahead and use it or is it still and no-go? If it's still a no-go in your opinion can you please elaborate why? Doc thinks current doesn't pass the abdomen/ uterus and that the process is similar to a TENS unit which has been proven to be safe for use while pregnant.

As for your question - the batteries last around 7 hours. Would not recommend the device due to that reason however I converted mine to rechargeable batteries.

If the device is conducting a current in thr way the drionic does, as mentioned and stated in the post,
I do not think it id s problem
But my opinion is not a good base to negotiate medical excludions
And pregnancy is one for Iontophoresis.. ay long a doc gives his ok
