Iontophoresis and metal parts: In general, when the metal parts are not in the path of the current it is not a problem. This means : If you don't treat your Head-sweating it doesn't matter if you have metal braces for your teeth. Most of the current flows over the skin from one pole directly to the other (the way of the least resistance).
E.g. you have to take off a metal ring (jewellery), when treating the hands, but you don't have to take this ring off when treating sweaty feet or armpit sweating.
