Hi, can you please answer the following:
1. I received aluminium as well as steel plates. I can't tell which is which - one is wider than the other? Can you please let me know.
2. What do you mean by switch polarity (before fifth session)? Does that mean if my left tray was connected to + wire then I should now connect it to the - wire?
3. I apply drysol (aluminium chloride antiperspirant) to my hands. Should I stop applying that?
4. If I achieve dryness in say 6 treatments, should I continue doing upto 10-15 treatments or should I just go into maintenance after 6 treatments only?
5. Whats a good current to start at for hands? I just tried my first session today with 5mA and I could feel tingling but it was ok to tolerate, not bad at all.
6. Should I try to keep my hands floating on water or is it ok to keep it on the plates (with the nets inbetween)? Which is more effective.
Tks! |

Hi, tks for the answers. Here's some more.
1. So the stainless steel (l-shaped) has lesser surface area than the aluminium. Sometimes it gets hard to fit the hand in that much space. Is that ok?
2. Answering your question where I found switching polarity mentioned. In your manual for Idromed 5PS Page 6, section 2.4 second para, it says.. "In order to optimize the therapeutic effect, you should therefore switch polarities before every 5th treatment session."

Ok, tks for the answers.
I'd like to let you know that after my second treatment, my hands were dry the whole day and are even dry now. No sweating at all. Nice dry hands. It feels amazing! My feet also used to sweat but I don't care about it that much but now that my hands are dry, so are my feet (without doing anything to them).
I'm thinking I'll still go ahead and do treatment on day 3 and 4. What do you advise? Should I go into maintenance after that.
This whole thing feels like magic and dream come true.

Hi,
I want to mention one more thing now. I tried doing my 3rd treatment. After I turned the Idromed device on and put my hands in the trays, nothing happened.. I mean the display did not change to "Remaining Time 15 min". I had to turn it off 3-4 times and then it worked. I'm wondering why did that happen? Please note this was my third session and my hands are dry now.
Tks! |
